Just read Little Gems post and thought I would join in. When I first found out about my EDS I read Sarah Ban Breathnachs gratitude journal and she suggested making a list of your favourite pastimes so that when you feel a bit down you can look at it and do one of them.
Sometimes when you feel low it is so difficult to think about what you could do. So here I go :
1. Browsing charity shops
2. Making fairy cakes and letting Miss T go wild with the decorations
3. Dark nights and getting changed into PJs straight after tea
4. Hubbys lovely cups of tea - with a biscuit usually ginger
5. Any sandwich made by my mum - they always taste better than mine
6. Watching a brilliant film
7. Buying a new magazine
8. Playing Mah Jong on the PC
9. Blogging
10. Receiving a parcel or packet
11. Watching cricket (I know I'm a strange girl)
12. Quiz Nights
13. Emmerdale - I dont watch any other soap but love Emmerdale
14. Freshly washed hair
15. Smell of fabric softener from clothes airing
16. Libraries
17. Sewing bits and bobs, buttons, ribbons etc
18. Books, books, books - historical fiction, crafts, interiors
19. Browsing ebay and getting a bargain
20. Cola bottles or Haribo
21. Old embroidered tablecloths
22. Spring flowers but not purple ones
23. The childrens laughs and sense of humours - they crack me up
24. Cuddles or snuggles as we call them
25. France
The list has just made me realise that there is so much I love 0 i think I could have carried on and on.
Just off to have my cup of tea (with gingernuts of course), browse ebay and then sort out my sewing basket. What a great day !!!

Lovely list :) I agree about the sandwiches, I hate the ones I make for myself, and I always think triangle sandwiches are nicer than square?! With you on the clean hair thing too - I have to wash mine everyday or it drives me mad! X
Just came across your blog, well it was the name which led me here. My Nan is called Floss and I always call her Flossie. Will be back to read more later.
Ooh, I love Ebay too. Just got Nipper a toy dyson for a very good price - he is mad about hoovers for some reason, and 500g of pure cotton yarn for a fiver. Nothing like snuggling up in your pj's with a nice new mag.
I share many of your favourite pastimes. I have been known to be changed into PJs before tea though...

I share many of them too!! I even like cricket ;-)
That is a lovely list...think I may have a go too
xx
Lovely, We call them snuggles too, or cuggles. xxx
There are quite a few bloggers with EDS, how unsual! I like dark nights too and like snuggling up. :-) I also like a good bargain on ebay. I got 5 metres of Laura Ashley candy stripe fabric for £5 this weekend! Mind you, I sold one of my tea cosies that take me ages to make and also are made using expensive fabrics for £2 so it swings in roundabouts! I'm never going to be selling on ebay again!
LIKE THE POST! I thought about doing one, but we definitely share a lot of 'THINGS WE LOVE'.
Have a lovely weekend!

What a good idea, great list. I agree with you about the sandwiches, my mum makes lovely sandwiches :)
Thanks for the advice hun, I would be absolutely terrible at homeschooling so that won't be for us (though I had huge admiration for you doing it and it sounds like you are getting great results) but I still don't know what to do. Rock and a hard place I think :(
Like your post about 25 things a lot!

Found you from Beki's blog. Just the mention of sandwiches and I was thinking of my mum's prawn rolls that she used to send me back on the train to London with. Nothing else tastes the same.
This is a great list. I just came across you blog and love it. I will be back to look more!
